DESIGN BOX

I have extensive experience working in both team environments as well as independently and always maintain excellent standards of work.

 

After many years in corporate and most recently education, I worked in extremely busy and highly pressurised environments, including in a managerial capacity. Exceptionally high levels of communication skills and professionalism were required in dealing with colleagues, members of the public and employees.

 

During that time I was responsible of every aspect of publication required, this included marketing strategies, rebrands, presentations, pitches, banners, posters, invitations, digital animation, web design, social media and high quality printed marketing material. These had to be produced to very tight deadlines and accuracy was essential in every aspect. It was vital for me to remain flexible and adaptable as last minute changes often had to be implemented. I had to be keenly aware at all times of issues of confidentiality, compliance and conflicts of interest. My role of recent has provided me with further experience in finance, budget management, HR, office administration and management.

Design Box:

I successfully set up my own graphic design business, where a large part of my work involved producing a whole range of high end hot foiled and handmade wedding stationery, designing corporate branding, promotional marketing material and corporate event management.

 

I had spent many years working alongside Lithographic printers, that my understanding of outputting to print and my knowledge about different types of print finishes is of a second nature. I operate my own in house foil blocking and digital press.
